I'm a fullstack engineer with senior and leadership experience, working mainly in backend Laravel and PHP. Much of my career has involved building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs, from multi-GDS travel connectivity (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, TBO) to AI document-ingestion pipelines where reliable data from external services is central to the product. I write clean, well-tested code and care about shipping features that have a measurable impact for paying customers.

MadeByCooper (Feb 2026 to present, remote). Working as a Software Engineer on the refactoring and modernisation of legacy codebases across the company's products, improving stability, maintainability and test coverage. Mainly working with PHP, Laravel, MySQL and JavaScript, and raising development standards across the team. Riskhub (2024 to 2026, London, hybrid). Built and shipped the company's first AI-powered document-extraction product, a production data-ingestion pipeline on Node.js, TypeScript and AWS Lambda, with document-chat features added through AWS Bedrock. Built fullstack applications in Vue.js, TypeScript, Laravel and Chart.js, improved reliability with OpenAPI integration and Behat testing that caught hidden bugs, and migrated the CI/CD pipeline from SQLite to MySQL. MadeByCooper (2023 to 2024, hybrid). Designed and launched a bookings-management system (Vue.js, TypeScript, Laravel, MySQL) used by paying customers, which brought a 40% revenue increase and over 100 new paying customers within six months. Improved platform performance by around 80% through SQL query optimisation and caching, and set up a CI/CD pipeline with PHPUnit testing that uncovered critical bugs. Promoted to Lead Engineer within a year, taking ownership of all internal and customer-facing products, managing sprints, and working with UI/UX on Jira workflows. Led the infrastructure migration to Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build) and introduced coding standards, GitHub Actions CI/CD and PHPUnit testing across a Laravel, PHP, MySQL, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, TypeScript and Python/Flask stack with Twilio integration. Built the core travel connectivity layer, integrating and normalising several OTA and GDS partner APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo and TBO Holidays) and converting Amadeus TripXML and Sabre GDS SOAP responses to JSON. Built a black-box search system that optimised queries across Amadeus and Sabre to streamline the booking flow, and delivered a white-label travel SaaS backend (Laravel, Vue.js, TypeScript, MySQL) with CI/CD via GitHub Actions and AWS. OnCuePay (Interstack Ltd). Founded and built a live-event request marketplace on Laravel, Vue and Stripe (manual capture), handling the product, architecture, infrastructure and delivery end to end.
