How we build it

Step by step, with you involved throughout

  1. 01

    Choose the right provider

Fees, countries and payment methods compared for your customers.

  2. 02

    Build the flow

Checkout, receipts, refunds and edge cases handled properly.

  3. 03

    Connect your systems

Every payment recorded where your team and accountant need it.

  4. 04

    Test and launch

Tested in sandbox first, then switched on with monitoring.

Proof, not promises

Payments we run ourselves

OnCuePay holds a guest's card when they make a request, charges it only when the DJ plays it, refunds it automatically if not, and pays hosts out through Stripe Connect.

Questions

Which payment provider should we use?

It depends on where your customers are and how they like to pay. Stripe suits most UK and international businesses, PayPal is worth adding where customers expect to see it, and Paystack or Flutterwave are often better across Africa. We will recommend one before building.

Can you add payments to our existing website or app?

Yes. We can add payments to an existing product without rebuilding it.

Do you handle refunds and disputes?

Yes. Refunds, failed payments and disputes are part of the build, not an afterthought.

Can payments go straight into our accounting software?

Yes. We connect payments to your invoicing and accounting so every transaction is recorded automatically.
