About the role

Asana’s Impact Go-To-Market team is looking for a driven, customer-centric, and impact-oriented sales professional to join our dedicated team serving nonprofit organizations. In this role, you will focus on managing, landing, and expanding business within your assigned book of accounts while helping shape Asana’s broader go-to-market strategy across. You will partner cross-functionally and work with key channel partners to accelerate revenue growth, empower organizations, and deliver maximum value to our impact-focused customers. This role is based in our San Francisco, New York, or Chicago office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve Proactively manage a portfolio of nonprofit customers, serving as their main point of contact and driving revenue growth. Define territory and account strategies that enable sales velocity in partnership with Sales Engineers, Sales Development Reps, Customer Success Managers, Deal Desk, Professional Services, and Executive Sponsors. Navigate enterprise accounts to map key stakeholders, cultivate champions, and build strong relationships with C-level decision-makers. Consistently meet and exceed targets with support from a collaborative sales enablement team. About you Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making. 4+ years selling directly into the emerging enterprise segment, with 6+ years of total experience closing business in a rapidly scaling software environment. Prior experience selling into the public sector, education, or impact-focused industries, or direct familiarity with the nonprofit sector. Proven track record of generating revenue and co-selling alongside channel partners. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior line-of-business and IT executives within large organizations. Customer-centric approach to relationship building, with a history of developing C-suite and Director-level champions that result in enterprise-wide adoption. Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to co-creating alongside cross-functional partners in a diverse and inclusive workplace. Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to manage a diverse account portfolio and lead cross-functional support teams effectively.
